Diablo III Collector's Edition Announced!

posted 4 months ago0 comments

Blizzard has revealed the the collector’s edition for Diablo III, and I have to admit it does look pretty cool. It has a bunch of things that I believe will make it that much more marketable. For instance, besides all of the other Diablo 3 goodies which I will get to in a minute, three of the items you are going to get relate to Diablo III, StarCraft II, and World of WarCraft. I think those items alone will catch the attention of most Blizzard fans. So lets go into more detail shall we?

Diablo III Collector's Edition

Here are the following items:

  • The full version of the Diablo III game on DVD-ROM.
  • Diablo Skull and 4GB USB Soulstone. (4GB USB Contains Diablo II and the Expansion Pack Diablo II: LoD)

  • Diablo III – Aesthetic Artifacts.
Call forth glowing angel wings, An exclusive banner, and Dye your armor sets with the Bottled Cloud or Bottled Smoke items.

  • World of Warcraft – Fetish Shaman Pet.
  • StarCraft II – Battle.net Portraits.
  • Behind the Scenes Blu-ray/DVD Set.
  • The Art of Diablo III.
  • Diablo III Soundtrack.

One of the coolest thing in that set in my opinion is the Diablo Skull with the Red USB stick. It’s pretty cool because it looks like the exact same head Diablo head in the very first game as well as the Soulstone that the hero ended up jamming into his forehead at the end of the game.

The second place items would be really hard for me. The angel wings would look pretty damn cool on a Diablo III character, as well as having a Fetish Shaman Pet running by your side in World of Warcraft. But then again it would really be cool to hear from the creators of the game and what their experience was building the game.
