Dead Island Screenshots

What a day, first the Dead Island video and now some more screenshots of the game. It really seems like the gameplay and the environments are coming together nicely which should really place you right in the middle of the action. I wonder if Left 4 Dead had any influence on this game, since it seems so closely knit with it then any other game.

I am actually quite excited about this game. In a way it reminds me of Farcry, back in the day. I remember playing it for the first time, you were on a tropical island and then it all went wrong. It was great seeing all those vibrant, tropical colors.

Now, especially after just watching the Walking Dead, I'm excited for anything zombie.

Yeah this is kind of like Far Cry except with zombies. Beautiful lush environments except with a bunch of crazy zombies. Man this would be nice if it were out already. I can't wait till October until "The Walking Dead" show picks back up.
