New Battlefield 3 Screenshots

A few new screenshots have been released for Battlefield 3 showing off some of the new areas we can expect to wage battle in once the game is released: that is, metro and the desert.

The screenshots are already mindblowing but according to a Twitter post made by Christina Ann Coffin, who is a Frostbite Engine Coder at DICE, “HW tesselation” was not turned on when they were taken otherwise even more detail would have been visible.
